Chaozhou Nanchun High School
Chaozhou Nanchun High School (Chinese: 潮州市南春中学) is a high school in Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It was founded in 1976. The school has 56 classes, with more than 200 students, 208 full-time teachers, 9 graduate students and 138 senior teachers. The campus covers an area of 17,000 square meters.
== History ==
Chaozhou Nanchun High School was founded on August 1976. In March 1977, the school started its classes, with Zhuang Jianguo (庄建国) as its first president.
In September 1980, the high school was integrated into Chaozhou city and became a full-fledged high school. The school's graduates were able to participate in the college entrance examinations for the first time in July 1982, after Deng Xiaoping resumed college entrance examinations in 1977 after the Cultural Revolution. In August 1984, the school leadership went through some changes, with Li Xuefu (李学富) as the new Principal and Chen Fangqing (陈芳清) as the new secretary of the party branch.
In 2000, Chaozhou Nanchun High School was listed as one of the 'top ten schools' in Chaozhou city and at the same time, promoted to a first-tier school of the city. In 2005, it was promoted to a first-tier school of Guangdong Province. In the same year, the school released its official website. In 2006, Chaozhou Nanchun High School became a normal high school upon the cancellation of the middle school department of the school.
